KK cracked by nut flush on the river
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 | AK suited, all-in, donkey, nut flush | No Comments
I’m doing quite fine this evening. I’m even hitting rivers, normally not one of my specialities
To illustrate this, see the attached video. I pick up

on the big blind, and see a raise to 1$ and a call. I decided just to call and not to raise, despite of my bad position. Afterwards maybe the good decision: the guy with KK would probably have reraised me all-in preflop. Not sure if I would have folded that, but Q6 would probably have. Well, so I just called.
The flop didn’t hit me, but I picked up a nice nut flush draw (+ I certainly got some additional outs because of my 2 overcards). The guy in first position decided to play it quick: he immediately pushed all-in with his overpair. The next one flat called (what was he actually thinking? Top pair with pretty good kicker will be enough? Wouldn’t think so, pal)
Ok, my turn! Why should I ever fold this? I got lots of outs plus the pot odds are just too good to let this slip. So I called and also just called the remaining bets of the player with Q6. Maybe it was a better move to push that guy all-in straight away, but ok.
The turn came a blank, but the river offered me a big smile
So I took down a nice pot.
damn, didn’t see that coming

These donkeys just keep giving me their money I’ll give some new examples: what are these people actually thinking? I would say: keep gambing then I’ll keep playing a tight ass motherfucker
First example:
I flopped a set and checked it to lure my opponent into a bet, which happened. On the turn (a blank) I decided to make a very little bet, and just see what happens then … ROFL
Second example:
I don’t understand his flatcalling … And off course not the one on the river Btw, my bet on the flop was a misclick, wanted to bet some more Fortunately the river helped me, or I would have lost some money to these donk :p
donk donates some money

Just like the girl from Queen of diamonds, I often get confrontations with players who are just gambling and don’t try to think too much about the game as it develops. See the video below for example. Ok, he could have been calling with an ace (or two diamonds) but the call on the river is just a formality. Don’t quite get what he is trying to achieve, except adding some $ to my bankroll. Btw, three players at the table, what the hell? Suddenly a couple players sat out or disappeared so I decided this would be my last hand to play. Fortunately that was a good choice.
what a nice flop hehe

Ok, I admit I played this awful. But I just tried to get more money in the pot and I succeeded. Luckily he didn’t have A9s or something like that. But as long as players like this one keep playing against me, I’m not having complaints
Btw, today I reached the 1400FPP and ordered a black cotton sweatshirt (hehe
). Think I’m going to switch to Full Tilt or Everest, ‘cos actually I want to start playing with a bonus or some rakeback. Pokerstars doesn’t offer me any of these atm so … and FTP gives 27% rakeback so probably that will be the choice
